Section 2 governs service delivery. Its core standards require RBTs to: prioritize the client's welfare and comply with mandated-reporting laws (2.01); follow supervisor direction, implement services accurately, and keep documentation complete (2.02); maintain professionalism and act on supervisor feedback (2.03); never use unfamiliar interventions or serve unfamiliar populations without training (2.04); implement restrictive procedures only when documented in the plan and after the supervisor verifies competence (2.05); direct all service questions and concerns to the supervisor (2.06); report suspected violations of client rights or risks of harm (2.07); protect confidentiality in all forms — spoken, written, and electronic (2.08); never share identifying client information on social media or websites (2.09); and discuss confidential information only under supervisor direction or when legally permitted (2.10).

Section 3 governs the RBT's relationship with the certification board. RBTs must: comply with all BACB requirements, including supervision, documentation, and audits (3.01); communicate honestly with the BACB and immediately correct any inaccurate information submitted (3.02); never cheat on competency assessments or exams (3.03); self-report to the BACB within 30 days any qualifying event that could affect their certification — such as criminal charges, investigations, or disciplinary actions (3.04); never misuse BACB or others' intellectual property (3.05); immediately share any BACB enforcement notice with the supervisor and respond cooperatively (3.06); and verify their BACB account monthly, reporting certification status changes to the supervisor within 24 hours (3.07).
